Evaluation

                                                               Evaluation

In this unit we were asked to make photo manipulation on Photoshop, or other editing software to recreate a image that we either; took, scanned or got from the internet.

We were required to produce a blog consisting of all our preparatory experiments, contextual research, contact sheets and development of final images.

We had to experiment with as many different processes as possible and comment on our results, and consider hand rendered techniques and digital/film image capturing and scanning.

I enjoyed making this blog, and leant many techniques on the way, like layering images, different types of bushes and changing the layer type. I didn't enjoy the drawing part to this unit, as drawing isn't my strong point.

Things i would do differently if i were ever to do this again would spend more time on editing and more different types of research, also scan in more items.

Aims:
Scan more if needed.
Keep up with work.
Use different types of photoshop tools.

Britt Spencer

This illustration of Abraham Lincoln symbols his creative and intelligent mind.

Pete Pachoumis

After the tragic events of 9/11, many artists in the comic book industry were asked to contribute to a special project, the proceeds from which would go to help those affected by the attacks. This was Pete Pachoumis contribution.

I like this illustration by Pete Pachoumis because it symbols the 9/11, and the work that fireman done to save many lives. without them, the death count would be concisely more.

Jamel Akib

Vinnie Rice

I quite like this image by Vinnie Rice it looks fairly modern. It reminds me off a urban city/life. It also looks like it was a scribble and just kept on drawing things conneted to what he started at, but at the same time it looks professional. That is the main reason on why i like it.
